Google Has Rebuilt NotebookLM With Agent-Like Features

Google's research tool NotebookLM now runs on Gemini 3.5 and outperformed the previous version in over 65% of Google's internal comparisons. Each notebook now has access to a secure cloud computer that can write and run code, so it can analyze data and produce deliverables like PDF reports, Word documents, spreadsheets, slide decks, charts, and CSV files, and it can even use Google Search to gather sources before you have your own.
